International Flights
Krabi International airport and Phuket International Airport are the closest international airports to Trang. Bus and mini-van transfers from these airports are available.
Locally
If you are in Trang it is easiest is to get a combined minibus/longtail ticket (around 200-300 baht) from one of the travel agents in the street opposite Trang railway station.
One of the better known is Mister Lee (also known as Bang lee) who leaves from K.K. Travel opposite the train station every morning at 11.00. After the 45 minute mini-van ride, he changes hats and pilots the local ferry from Kuan Thung Khu port on the mainland over to the pier on Koh Mook (east side). From there you are only a short walk to Pawapi resort.
By Air (domestic)
Two airlines now fly to Trang from Bangkok on a daily basis:
Nok Air

Air Asia

Between the two of them they offer morning or afternoon arrival. Pawapi is happy to arrange transport from the airport to the resort including by private air-conditioned mini-van (45 mins) and private long-tail (30 mins) at 1,400 baht: airport to sitting on the beach time, just over an hour.
By Train
Trang has a direct train connection with Bangkok with two arrivals daily. The sleeper trains are a great experience traveling down the Thai peninsular with a cold drink, a plate of rice and chicken or other local food rushed onto the train at each small stop.
Twice daily 5.05, 6.20
