Emerald Cave

Many people ask about the best time to go to Koh Mook’s beautiful Emerald Cave considering tide and sunlight etc. The answer is anytime, but please take a tour; with a rough sea, a high tide and 20-25 metres of dark cave to navigate it can be a bit tricky! Here at Pawapi we have a new boat, a very experienced local boatman and a list of tours and transfers we can arrange (see attached). All tours are with guide, life vests etc.

Swimming

The sea is shallow and safe at Pawapi Resort and due to the prevailing winds and curve of the bay we have more ‘smooth sea’ days than any other place on the island.

Bikes

Pawapi has two good quality aluminium ‘Trek’ mountain bikes for hire at 150 baht per day. Locks etc. are available from the reception/kitchen.

Scuba diving and snorkeling

Pawapi can arrange dives of all levels including PADI Open Water and Advanced Open Water certification, PADI Rescue Diver and Dive Master courses.

Trekking

Pawapi can arrange treks and hiking to the interior of the island with an expert on the local flora and terrain.

Island hopping

Tours and transfers to Koh Lanta, Koh Hai (Ngai), Koh Lipe, Koh Kradan and beyond.
